Hand Sewn Souvenir Quilt Mid Century Polyester Multi Color - Heavy Large 100" X 74"

A great souvenir Quilt from Mid Century 1960-70's - all polyester colorful fabric top. It appears to be all hand sewn from squares to binding at edges. The neutral color reverse feels like a poly blend and it is wrapped to make the 1/2" binding edge.  Each square is hand stitched through the layers, making the quilt stable, retaining its shape. There is a very thin batting cotton layer.  I would believe this to be made by someone with great love and time, who had no sewing machine. The stability of this hand made quilt is impressive. Hand sewn Polyester Quilt. Probably made in 1960-70's when this fabric was available widely. Condition: Very Good for its vintage.  Field is intact except I note small minor fray less than 1" on a reverse side corner piece. Some very minor subtle discolor stain reverse side. Weight 5 lbs. 3 oz.
