TXOMIN ETXANIZ 2024 Getariako Txakolina (Getaria, Spain)

If you have not yet experienced this wine with us, we are excited to share. This is txakoli, a style of slightly effervescent white wine from the Basque Region of Spain. Light, bright, super high in acidity and full of lemon and green apple notes with hints of flowers & white pepper. It is made from the grape Hondurrabi Zuri, Txakoli wine may be from one of 3 places with the Basque region. This particular one is from Getaria (He-tar-ee-a). The name translates to “the txakoli wine from Getaria” in the Basque language, which is an ancient language system. Long a well kept secret, we are seeing more of it on the American market as the demand for the refreshing drink increases.
