How To Levitate Your Moon Lamp Put the moon lamp and the base on a horizontal table, connect the base and the adapter to a power outlet. Try to feel the center point of the magnetic levitation. Carefully lower the moon with both hands directly over the center of the base, keeping the moon horizontal until you feel the upward magnetic force supporting the weight of the moon lamp. When you feel the magnetic force supporting the moon and it lights up, let go of your hand gently, the ball will float and change colors automatically.
