This tool is used in order to accurately and efficiently trim leadpipe venturi. Simply place this collet in a 3/4" collet or 3 jaw chuck, part the leadpipe at the desired venturi, and then deburr. This eliminates the need to square the opening of the leadpipe, as it will come out square every time (this of course varies lathe to lathe).
