OMAS Paragon Calligraphia Fountain Pen
The Paragon collection, created in 1930s by Armando Simoni, features a 12-faceted design and roller clip that were revolutionary for the Italian writing industry. To complement this masterpiece, Omas use only the finest celluloid. Omas' modern refilling mechanism was designed to ensure that ink does not come into contact with the celluloid, preventing corrosion and preserving its quality over time. Paragon: The Paragon Calligrafia seeks to truly live up to the name “Paragon”, a model of excellence. Made out of a red rippled ebonite as an homage to the famous material of the past, the Calligrafia is our first Paragon ever to be made out of the vaunted substance. Most importantly however, each Paragon Calligrafia is crowned with a truly special nib. The nibs in question are “Double Stacked” nibs. Created by TAKU-san through a process of carefully welding together two of our 14ct gold nibs. These nibs are designed and ground to offer line variation anywhere from Extra Fine to BBBB depen
