Wild Goose Studio - Sláinte
Perhaps the furthest-travelled and most widely known of all Gaelic words, Sláinte is an expression of Celtic bonhomie, a greeting meaning good health, often accompanying a drink. This exclusive design is from an original stone carving by renowned Irish letter carver Tom Little. Dimensions: 8 x 4 inches (20 x 10cm) This piece comes in our presentation gift box. Made in Kinsale, Co. Cork, Ireland. Meet Our Vendor Wild Goose Studio was founded in 1970 by two talented artists Brian Scott-McCarthy and Kathleen Smith. In teaming up with other incredible Irish talents, they have made stunning works of art inspired by Ireland’s rich culture. Their process involves creating the physical form of an idea, feeling, or image. An artist then carves it and sculpts his or her artwork, which is reproduced with a mold so that each piece holds all of the artistry and detail of the original piece. After setting the bronze or cast iron piece with a cold cast, it is polished to perfection. Wild Goose artist
