Long and Winding Road

In April of 2020 I visited a popular beach that I hadn't been to since I was a teenager. It was a sunny, crisp day and the beach was far more clean than I'm accustomed to, but I'd driven an hour to get there so I made the most of it. There was none of the typical plastic junk that I find elsewhere, but scattered along the shoreline were hundreds of pieces of smoothed-over flat stones, so as I walked along I filled my bag with the best shapes I could find, including a terrific heart-shaped rock. As soon as I came home I laid it all out on my worktable and came up with this image of a winding path - two, actually - that travel great distances before meeting up in the center. Archival quality printing on a sturdy, lightweight, recycled aluminum panel. Aluminum prints are waterproof and resistant to scratches. Wooden rear mount with attached wire and hook for easy hanging.
