Ebony is grown in India and west Africa. It is a dense, finely grained wood that turns to wonderful finish. The brush is 100% fine badger bristle that will create a rich lather when whisked over a bar of shaving soap. The Ebony handle is treated with tung oil. Please wipe dry after use.
