This is a delightfully off-dry Riesling from what is arguably the Riesling capital of the world; the Mosel river valley.  The Geierslay estate began producing wine in the region waaaay back in 1465!  Feinherb is a term for Riesling that is just lightly sweet; sweeter than trocken, but less-so than semisweet or halbtrocken.  There is ample acidity to make keep it racy and balance the subtle sweetness.  An easy and fun white to cut through any spicy, fatty, salty dishes that demand a wine with a ton of flavor.  Grape: Riesling  Soil: Slate with some clay, steep banks Viticulture: Sustainable  ABV: 10.5%
