precious little altars

These precious little altars create a spiritual space within your home or can beautifully hold the memory of a loved one, too. The story behind the altars comes from a tradition that is well alive in the neighborhood of my husband's family in São Paulo state, Brasil. There, a gorgeous wooden altar standing over a foot tall is shared among neighbors and communities as the altar is passed from home to home.
