fallen pine branches were used to create these unique and fun crayons.  and yes, they work! crayons come in a group of ten. no trees were harmed in the making of these crayons. (please note: each branch used was found in its natural, fallen state. some branches/crayons have peeling bark, with each looking uniquely imperfect). details measurements: small- 3.5", medium- 5". colors in each set vary. about the artisan Juan Cesar, Maria and family live outside of the capital city of Quito, Ecuador, in a small home that they share with their nine children.
