Monarda didyma / Scarlet Beebalm

A favorite among hummingbirds, Scarlet Beebalm is also a medicinal plant used by the Cherokee as a sedative and for headaches and colds. It is an upland species that can tolerate wet and is at home in disturbed habitats, reaching a height of about 1 ft. It requires full sun and can withstand medium to wet conditions.
