~ Aventurine ~ From the Italian phrase "a ventura- by chance". Accidently discovered in the 1800 century by a glass worker in Murano, Italy. it has been used in jewelry throughout history. A ceremonial ax over 3000yrs old was discovered, now in the British Museum. In tibet its worn as a healing stone. The Chinses associate Aventurine with their goddess, Guanyin Pusa.
