Rhodochrosite Cabochon: Apatite, Pink Tourmaline, Rhodonite & Bone

~ Apatite ~ In Greek. Apatao-to deceive. Named after the Goddess Apate, for trickery, fraud & deceit. Spanish explorer and naturalist, Pedro Francisco Davila, described Apatite as a multi colored "Phosphoric Stone". Found all over the world in a variety of shades, its value fluctuates on the color saturation.  Connected to the throat chakra it is thought to be a great aid in communication and expression.
