ConvaTec KALTOSTAT® Calcium Sodium Alginate Dressing KALTOSTAT® Calcium Sodium Alginate dressing is indicated for moderately to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds. May be appropriately used for stages II and IV pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and traumatic wounds. 2 gram Rope or 3" x 4-3/4" dressing is made of soft, white, nonwoven calcium alginate fiber. Highly absorbent. Converts exudate to a gel/fiber mat and creates a moist, warm environment. May be left in place up to 7 days. Trauma-free removal. Sterile
