Heartbreaker, Dyed to Order

Heartbreaker is a kettle dyed variegated colorway. This colorway is made by dyeing the base of the yarn with a very soft layer of silver gray and then pouring over gold, red grape, bronze, and turquoise blue. Personally I love kettle dyed colorways on their own, as they have so much depth and interest. I like to pair them with simpler designs so that the color can be the star of the show, especially for sweaters, but also for hats, one skein shawl projects, mittens, or baby blankets.  If you wanted to pair Heartbreaker with another colorway, I would recommend Pressed Petal, Fog, Shadow, Harbor, Abalone, Gourd, or Hades.
