Plush bulky features extra soft 19.5-micron bulky weight Superwash merino wool yarn. This is a 2ply, 100-gram, 109-yard skein of yarn that is so silky, soft and dense with a beautiful drape.  This yarn takes color brilliantly and has a beautiful natural sheen. Superwash yarn is technically machine washable in a gentle cycle with like colors, I do however recommend hand washing your knits made with Superwash yarn as the washer will tug and pull at your knits causing them to lose their shape or worse rip. I wash my knits in the sink using lukewarm water and Long Winter Farm Sweater Soap. This soap has lanolin in it which protects the natural fibers.
