The Deep Dark Woods, Dyed To Order

The Deep Dark Woods is a variegated hand dyed yarn colorway with speckles. This colorway is made by layering a lot of different earthy dye combinations. It starts out with a soft layer of silver gray and ecru, then a heavy layer of light blue is poured over. At this point the yarn sets so the lighter colors can get established before the darker shades of green, more silver gray, and taupe are poured on top. The Deep Dark Woods is then finished with gold, orange, bronze, and aqualon blue speckles giving this unique colorway a lot of depth. Because of all the layers of color, this yarn is particularly beautiful all on it's own, but if you're looking to pair it with another colorway I recommend Beauchamp, Wanderer, Latte, Gourd, Shadow, Set In Stone, Convergence, or After Midnight. The Deep Dark Woods is available on Nimble Sock, Plush Single, Plush DK, and Plush Bulky.
