Hydrocephalus is a build up of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles of the brain because of a blockage of some kind. In Duke’s case that blockage was the clots of his brain bleeds not allowing the fluid to flow back through its typical return pathways into the body. Duke's parents were told to expect the worst.
