This Counterweight System is a clamping plate shaped for a V-series Dovetail with a mounted 3-inch long threaded rod for counterweights. It is packaged with a 3.5-pound counterweight that will fit cleanly onto the 3-inch rod. The split clamp design grips your dovetail bar along the entire surface of the saddle and will not dent or scratch the dovetail bar. The dovetail clamp has a large T-handle locking-knob for tool free operation.
