It incorporates Slovakian folk quotes from Béla Bartók’s "For Children" (Volume II, Based on Slovakian Folk Tunes) with layers of Slovakian folk elements used in the overall texture.  The work consists of six movements (Overture, Hopfrog, Lullaby, Furiant, Romanza, Hopak).
