Zero to minimal trimming of the grill will be required depending on the winch you have/plan to buy. 2018-2023 Wranglers and Gladiators (non-Rubicon)  should add the spacer kit for a cut free install. While you do not need to use the spacer kit, significant cutting to the grill will be required without the spacer kit.
