About Our Petitgrain Essential Oil Three different essential oils can be harvested from Citrus trees: peel oil, blossom oil (Neroli) and leaf oil (Petitgrain).  Orange Petitgrain contains a high percentage of the strongly relaxing, antispasmodic and pain relieving Monoterpene Esters. French research confirms its effectivity for the treatment of neurovegetative dystonia, racing thoughts, nerve related rheumatism and respiratory infection.  This Petitgrain oil has an unusually erogenous fragrance – slightly reminiscent of indole – and combines leafy, floral and mildly fruity elements. It balances and stabilizes the nervous system while elements of leaf, fruit and flower make this oil almost a blend on its own.
