Pintucks and Lace 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Pintucks and lace are oh so feminine. Inspired by the forties and fifties, the fine details take a plain white dress and make it special. In white, it’s perfect for a wedding or a First Holy Communion. Use a floral print and it becomes a bridesmaid or everyday dress. Create a maxi with a soft Dotted Swiss for a flower power outfit.The pattern features pintucks on the front bodice and a pleat for added fullness. Optional ribbon or fabric ties are included in the back. The bodice is fully lined with an attached slip. The Pintuck & Lace dress has short puff sleeves with a Hong Kong binding. Directions for making pintucks and lace insertion are included and the skirt pintucks can be left out. The dress can be made tea length or maxi length.
