EVERGREEN Wool & Tencel Sock/Fingering Yarn- Kettle Dyed

The shades of green that this yarn was dyed remind me of spring grass & leaves, pea pods and Easter baskets. Your favorite leprechaun would love a pair of socks knitted with this yarn. The yarn is made from recycled wool and Tencel (50/50). Tencel is a type of rayon made from plant cellulose. It wicks moisture better than cotton or hemp and is softer too. Because the tencel is a plant-based product, it does not take the acid dye like the wool does. This creates a shimmer effect; the yarn actually sparkles! Kettle Dyeing means each skein is unique; no two skeins are exactly alike.                  Each skein is 383 yards/100 gms.
