Benriach Scotch Single Malt 30 Year

A mixture of bourbon, sherry finished and sherry matured Benriach whisky, aged for 30 years and married together to produce an all-round winner, bottled at a punchy 50%. The taste is layered and complex starting with dancing fruits which are tamed by waxes and bitter herbs quickly. The honeys support the sweet side of the dram but the wooden tannins re-establish balance again shortly thereafter.
