Carmel Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Appellation 2016

This deep garnet-colored wine has a bouquet of cherry pie with touches of extra baking spice. Black currant and blueberry flavors are most apparent on entry, followed by a cooling sensation and flavors of vanilla and clove. Then enduring tannins take hold on the palate, ebbing toward a fragrant finish. The Appellation Cab-Shiraz is a deep purple color with blackberry, spice and dark chocolate flavors. The wine is full bodied with a long balanced finish. Aged in oak for 12 months.
