Jezreel Valley Rose 2016 is a fusion of Carignan and Grenache varieties. Each varietal was fermented in a slow cold fermentation without extraction. This wine is light and refreshing with balanced acidity and wonderful fruit aromas. This one looks great, pink peonies in color. On the nose, freshly-picked raspberries, grapefruit and apricot as well as violets. Light toward medium in body, with on the palate raspberries, boysenberries and red currants, followed by watermelon and pomegranate with great minerals, mouth-watering acidity and a long finish that begs for a refill. This rosé is a winner! Pairs well with salads.
