Tommyrotter Gin Cask Strength Bourbon-Barrel Aged for 6 months in new charred American oak barrels, look for a bright copper penny color and mild allspice-laced scent. The palate is front-loaded with spicy cinnamon and cayenne, finishing with sarsaparilla, vanilla, dusty cocoa, puckery oak and a whole lot of fiery alcohol punch. Adding dilution tames the oak and heat, and brings out vanilla, dried apricot and baking spice.
