This is a sturdy bowl made of a Japanese stopper, finished on the potter's wheel and painted with rusty brushwork that leaves a rusty finish. A combination of a couple of red rust and black rust is painted with "Rokyoh maki-e" (six gourd maki-e), which is a good omen. *Mukyosai" means "no illness" and "sokyosai" means "good health. The word "mukyosai" means to be free from illness and "sakazai" means to be in good health. It is ideal for gifts such as wedding souvenirs. We accept gift wrapping and free of charge.
