Handmade, slab-built icy blue-green, matte white, and gray platter on recycled stoneware with porcelain. The interior design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind. Peach blushing on the exterior with raw texture from my fingerprints.  The name Eridanus is represented by a river. It is the 6th largest of the modern constellations located near the equator. It is associated with the Greek myth of Phaëton and usually depicted as a river flowing from the waters poured by Aquarius.   The perfect low vessel with a substantial rim for a side dish or entree with sauce. Eggs for scale.  Matte glazes should not have prolonged contact with typically staining foods. Visit FAQ for care instructions. Ceramic dimensions approximately 1.75" H x 10.75" W x 7.75" L.
