The Fungi Forest- Punch Needle Pattern

The Fungi Forest-Punch Needle pattern is a beautiful woodsy mushroom design inspired by all my hiking in the woods and enjoying all mother-natures artwork. This Design is attached to a lovely brown basket but would also make a fantastic pillow or framed Design. The Fungi Forest- Pattern Size- 8 1/2 x 7 7/8 The Fungi Forest-Copyright © 2023 Kelly Kanyok. This punch needle pattern was created using Valdani threads and DMC Floss in one Design. (see the combination thread list below). This pattern was created using and combining Valdani Size-12 Threads and 3 of the six strands of DMC Floss in one Design. The size 12 Valdani and using three strands of DMC are almost identical in thickness, so they blend beautifully together. Using both types of threads is not only cost-effective, but it is also efficient. Valdani thread is a very efficient way to fill large open areas, like the background, without rethreading your needle continuously. In addition, using DMC Floss skeins for the smaller detailed areas is very cost-effective when buying all the thread colors needed to create this wonderful mushroom design.  Pattern options (Paper Pattern or Pattern on Weaver's cloth) include the full-color pattern placement guide, which details exactly where each thread color is used throughout the Design, the custom thread list, and directions on how to complete the pattern and finishing and framing information. PATTERN OPTIONS: Paper Pattern or Pattern on Weavers Cloth  Paper Patterns- I recommend using a small lightbox and Micron 05 Archival Ink Pen to trace the paper pattern onto the weaver's cloth fabric. This pattern was created using the Ultra Punch Needle with the small size needle, and the Length was set at #1. - See the Color Guide for punch needle directions.
