Snow Camp

Many American cheeses are named for places close to the dairy and Snow Camp is no exception. Snow Camp, known for its rich history and outdoor theater, is an unincorporated community in Alamance County. The cheese’s bloomy rind evokes a snow-capped mountain. The blend of cow and goat’s milk produces a balance that gives the cheese a more interesting flavor than your typical brie but less of a tang than your average goat’s milk.
