Czapek & Cie Quai des Bergues 40.5mm Double Soleil Tuxedo Black | Pre-Order

Known for its two sizes, Czapek's Quai des Bruges finds a sweet spot in the middle with the latest release - the 40.5 mm Double Soleil, available in Tuxedo Black (shown here) or Deep Blue. This mid-sized version retains many of the hallmarks of its predecessors, with a few minute changes: a subtle update to the slope of the lugs, and refinement of the case-side recess to allow space for the SXH1 movement. The dial color choices has also been revisited, this time with a bold new guilloché pattern. The Guilloché Double Soleil gains its name from a solar optical illusion that causes the perception of a luminous spot on the sun, known as parhelia or "sun dogs."
