OTBox Mini: Visual Perceptual

The OTBox Mini: Visual Perception is aimed at strengthening children’s ability to make sense of and interpret what they are seeing. This helps kids with reading, writing, and playing with their toys!  Brief Activity Description:  1) Rice: So many colors!! Children will have to look for the letters in the colorful rice, then match them with Upper-case and Lower-case letters and words! 2) Popsicle sticks: This includes 4 different colored popsicle sticks. Children will have to follow the visual models to create the shapes and letters they see on the cards!  3) Chalkboard: Children will have to copy the drawings or use the step-by step cards to create the images!  4) Beads: Follow the patterns while placing the beads on the pipe cleaners. Also, use the toothpicks and clay to build bead towers!  (Toothpicks are sharp, so make sure younger children are supervised.)  5) Coins: Children will have to copy the 4 shapes with the coins. This activity also includes an in-hand manipulation task.  6
