Calamity Jane- original art, woodcut edition

Meet Jane, Calamity Jane. Yes, she's quite the notorious woman of the west and of course, I found her compelling to represent with woodcut. This is a small edition of 9, printed in my studio on Okawara paper. The image of her photo was my inspiration. I loved her buckskin coat, her ammo belt, and her waistcoat with scarf, not to mention the fur cuffs. It was a joy to produce and the first 2 have already sold.
