No significant note Fenton began producing its popular Silver Crest milk glass line in 1942, introducing it as a variation of their earlier Crystal Crest, and continued production until 1986, making it one of their longest-running patterns. While it was an instant success in the 1940s, production dipped in the 50s for Hobnail, but saw a huge resurgence and peaked in the 1960s, with some pieces still being made into the 1980s. 1942: Silver Crest (single clear edge on milk glass) introduced. 1943 onwards: Produced continuously, with a major peak in the 1960s. 1950s: Production lessened as Hobnail took priority. 1986: Final year of production for the Silver Crest line Note: All items are vintage, antique & second hand. This item is vintage, antique or previously owned.
