Our 54" Round CSA Ready-To-Finish Package with 18" Penta Torpedo Burner enclosure is unfinished, allowing you to finish with stone, veneer, or stucco to match their surroundings. Shapes available in round, octagon, square, and linear allowing for very versatile use in any fire feature. The housings take the guess work out of enclosure construction – especially with the difficult round and octagon shapes. These enclosures are constructed of sturdy 22 gauge galvanized steel material, welded frame, a 1/2” Hardiboard shell, and weighs ~150lbs. All HPC Ready to Finish Packages are 18" tall. Torpedo Burner Features We make our burners with commercial grade 304 stainless steel and outfitted with our patented fuel efficiency nozzle design as well as hand welded burner nozzle components. These features allow the flame to burn both quiet and clean. HPC offers customization as the special Torpedo features can be paired with HPC’s Linear, H and Penta Style Burners available in a variety of sizes. If you are looking for a dramatic effect this is the burner for you as it will yield a full camp fire flame that reaches a range of 22-26 inches in height. Torpedo Technology HPC has made several critical technological advances that mitigate water issues due to outdoor elements. HPC utilizes commercial grade stainless steel to create all fire components. Using quality materials allows our units to withstand severe weather conditions. From the construction of the pan to the use of a manifold, each component plays a crucial role in the designs’ quality and functionality. HPC’s Pans are constructed with stainless steel and have strategically placed weep holes to allow for drainage. In turn, the weep holes deter water from collecting in the pan itself. Every HPC burner utilizes a raised hub design with weep holes located on the ends of the burners. The raised hub guides water downward and out toward the hand drilled holes. The tooled weep holes are approximately 3/32 of an inch. HPC’s model utilizes potting technology that makes it certified for outdoor use meeting CSA and ANSI standards. Today HPC's system utilizes reliable hot surface ignition - lighting is simple with just the flip of a switch or a handheld remote or our Smart Phone App. If the flame is blown out the gas is safely turned off, the control will auto-relight the fire. The Smart Device app is available for Android devices and Apple Products now. REMOTE ELECTRONIC IGNITION, AUTO-RELIGHT, FLAME SENSE, FULLY ASSEMBLED. How It Works Start Up: This is done by use of a wall switch or remote control. When the ON command is received, the system completes initial safety checks then starts flow of pilot gas. After 5 seconds the hot surface igniter glows igniting pilot flame. When the system confirms pilot flame present, the main burner gas will flow ignited by the pilot flame. Operation: While enjoying the ambiance of your fire pit, the system is at work monitoring flame status, internal temperatures / voltages and other safety parameters. If flame loss does occur, the system will turn off all gas flow, and then restart by automatically commencing Start sequence. On/Off Models: Includes the convenience and safety features- optional remote control available. High / Low Flame Control Models: This option includes a smart remote and App via smart device control with 2-way communication with the fire pit. Remote allows flame height control while receiving information from fire pit to advise user of fire pit status (flashing LED).
