JUNE 2024 Every Painting Tells a Story, Online Painting Workshop

  The NEW 4-week online workshop series starts on SUNDAY, JUNE 2nd  Most of my paintings start without any plan or sketch. Characters and stories develop while I am painting. I love being surprised by what appears, which makes painting even more magical to me. In this workshop, we'll first experiment with color and mark-making with acrylic paints. Then, we'll create rich layers and experiment with opaque and translucent paints.  We'll pay attention to images and stories that appear and bring them out, then refind them by using paint, collage, stencils, ink, and paint pens. No prior painting experience is necessary.  We always intend to follow the joy of the painting process while experimenting with different techniques. DATES & TIMES 4 SUNDAYS 11.00 am - 1.30 pm June 2nd    Exploring color, textures, and marks with opaque and transparent paint.   June  9th.  Finding images and patterns in the texture.
