Sudarium Swirl Heavyweight Tee

THE CONCEPT A burst of Renaissance blue makes a timeless iconographic image come to life with a brilliant single line that spirals outwards from the tip of the nose, an enigmatic portrait of Christ.  Sudarium of Saint Veronica was engraved by Claude Mellan in 1649. Mellan was known for his unusual technique that used parallel lines of varying thickness to create light and dark in the image rather than the more traditional engraving technique of cross hatching with lines of equal thickness.
