Fourth generation farmer Chris Laughlin farms organically in her fields that “touch the sky" in the mountains above Bonny Doon and along the sea at Rancho Del Oso. Sea to Sky's mission is to use sustainable farming practices to provide good food to the Santa Cruz community and Bay Area, while honoring and protecting the land, the watershed, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. A turn in the coastline will shelter our table from cool Pacific breezes. Chef Jessica Yarr returns to the field kitchen. Jessica finds inspiration in seeking out ingredients with which to explore the culinary traditions of her eastern European heritage. She's sure to find inspiration in Chris's fields.
