On past tours, we’ve set the table on the Malibu Pier, the San Diego Tuna Harbor Dock, and the Stock Island Shrimp Boat Pier in the Florida Keys. This year, we’re adding two new ones in Capitola and Santa Barbara.The historic Capitola Wharf broke in half in the huge waves of winter 2023. The pier is now reopened, repaired, and revived with a new deck and pilings. We will celebrate the transformation with a long table feast featuring the farmers of Santa Cruz County, the fisherfolk of Monterey Bay, and staff from the Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust.
