Archive Garages' new 2" square tube is a significant upgrade, made from 50,000 psi steel for maximum durability. For this application, a square tube is a better option than a round one because its vertical surfaces are perfectly aligned with the main bending force, providing superior resistance and strength. By adding a cross tube between the Hammer Hangers, we've dramatically increased rigidity, which reduces stress and flex on both the stock crossmember and the frame rails. This upgrade not only improves the ride quality on any terrain but also sharpens your vehicle's steering response. With the added support, your truck will feel more composed and controllable, whether you're hauling a heavy load or navigating rough terrain. Note: Installing a cross tube requires relocating the spare tire from its stock location.
