This 180 gram vinyl Limited Edition LP of Permanent Vacation marks a shift in Aerosmith's career released in 1987. Executive John Kalodner recommended the band work with professional songwriters and producer Bruce Fairbairn. The collaboration was a success, the album charting in the Top 20, and with heavy music video airplay on MTV. Though it was Done with Mirrors that was intended to be Aerosmith's comeback, Permanent Vacation gained the band their greatest success in 10 years with hits such as 'Rag Doll', 'Dude (Looks like a Lady)', and 'Angel'.
