Standard Fin Koi

Standard Fin Koi Koi (Cyprinus carpio) are a member of the carp family. Along with several varieties of wild carp, the carp family also includes farm-raised koi and butterfly fin koi. Koi range in size from 2.5" to 36" but given the proper settings can grow even larger.Also known as Nishikigoi, Koi are a domesticated, colorful variety of the common carp. Standard Fin Koi have an oval body shape, as opposed to the Butterfly Koi which tend to be more slender. Koi are a great addition to any freshwater aquarium or garden pond. They can be mixed with any straight tailed goldfish including common goldfish, sarasa comets, pond comets and shubunkins, as well as butterfly koi.
