These entrenching tools or E-tools are collapsible and used by military forces for a variety of military purposes. Survivalists, freedivers, campers, hikers and other outdoors groups have found it to be indispensable in field use. The tool is capable of being used as a shovel when fully extended and as a pick when the shovel blade is locked in positioned at a 90 degree angle.
