Pay Dirt - Pink & Purple

The very first time we fished the Pay Dirt, it crushed silver salmon in B.C.  The Pay Dirt in Pink and Purple is a no brainer for silver and chum salmon as well as winter steelhead. This traditional leech pattern is tied on a size 3 Alec Jackson salmon and steelhead hook. The fly features a rabbit strip wing for enticing movement, Krystal Flash and a schlappen collar that creates a perfect profile in the water without adding bulk. The Pay Dirt is sparse, easy to cast and down right deadly. A moderately sized brass bead helps get the fly in the zone and provides a good jigging action when stripped, salmon really like a jigging action! Size 3
