Rare 1940s cream rayon garbardine 4-piece sportswear suit set, xs-small

An incredible and rare 4 piece sportswear set with cuffed and banded high waisted shorts, a tank top with square neckline and back buttons, side pleated darts. A banded full skirt with inverted pleats, and a jacket with breast pockets and strong shoulder. In rare pristine condition, never worn.  Belonged to a socialite in East Tennessee.
