'Growing Together' Print

This is a detailed print of my original painting titled 'Growing Together'. The seventh word of the year painting, inspired by the word ‘grow’ and ‘transform’.  If you are familiar with my work, you know I use this motif of rain and flowers a lot in my paintings. To me, the flowers that grow from my characters symbolizes their personal character, their growth, their beauty, and their uniqueness. The rain in my paintings can symbolize many different things. At times the rain may represent the challenges one can experience in life; heartache, mental health struggles, loss, illness. At other times, the rain may represent bountiful blessings, joys, and periods of happiness. Rain can be happy or sad, but whatever kind of rain it is, it is guaranteed to result in growth. Each day I get older, I become more and more grateful for the rainy periods of my life. It is in those periods that I have grown and transformed into my most pure, authentic self.
