'He Carries Me Through Every Winter' Porcelain Ornament

This ornament features my painting titled 'He Carries Me Through Every Winter'. This piece depicts the Savior carrying His precious black sheep through a snowy winter storm. Recently I’ve been thinking about times in my life where I’ve felt like the black sheep. Alone, not fitting in, forgotten. I think we’ve all felt this way at some point. For me, that feeling is often exacerbated in the winter as I’m experiencing the emotional lows that come with the loss of sunlight, the cold weather, the shorter days. That painting is a combination of those feeling. No matter how many people the black sheep is ignored and forgotten by, it is never forgotten by the Savior. He has carried me through every metaphorical storm, winter, and snowfall that I’ve experienced. I know He is there in the cold, in the dark, in the change, in the end.
